Please remember that one of our Members, Rosmarie BRÜNING
(GER), celebrated her 80. Birthday on December 9th. Take a look at the article
about her skating life in the EPSA-News 10/2003! She was the coach of Gerti
Schanderl (Munich), Göbl / Ningel (Oberammergau
/ Frankfurt) and others. She was also engaged as the head of the German Coaches
Association for several years.

now and will be mailed approximately on coming Thursday, 30th Oktober. It includes
an EPSA-News.

14.7.2003: The new EPSA-treasurer Torsten ROSS has taken over and is now preparing the mailing of the EPSA-bills. / Der neue EPSA-Schatzmeister Torsten ROSS hat sein Amt übernommen und bereitet den Versand der Beitragsrechnungen vor.
14.5.2003: The new Eissport-Magazin 5/2003 includes an edition of the EPSA-News.
Today the Voting Ballots for the Election of the new EPSA-Council have been mailed to all members of good standing. If you don't receive a voting ballot during the next days, the reason could be, that you didn't pay your membership fee. Or, do you have a new address and didn't inform us? Check if your data is complete and if not, give us a call.
All members, that have not followed our invitation to pay, will receive a last reminder during the next week.
The new Eissport-Magazin including the EPSA-News has been distributed and should arrive in Germany on Monday, in Switzerland on 4.12.02 or 5.12.2002, in the USA about 11.12.2002. The voting ballots for the next election of the next EPSA-Council will be mailed during the next two weeks. Torsten Roß (Krefeld, Germany will candidate for the job of the EPSA-Treasurer in order to follow Stephan Brill (Cologne, Germany). Stephan Brill didn't have enough time any more, because he now is the father of three daughters...

12.7.2002: The new Eissport-Magazin is being printed now. It includes the EPSA-News. All Members receive an EPSA-News "internal" and their yearly bill with the coming mailing and are asked to pay their fee as soon as possible - Thank You! During next months we will have elections for the Council of the EPSA. The Members in good standing are asked to make proposals for the new Council. German Stephan BRILL will not candidate any more because family reasons (three daughters!). For him Torsten Roß from Krefeld in Germany will candidate.
29.4.2002: Swiss Figure Skating Coach Hanspeter Mueller has been sentenced to 3,5 years in jail for sexual abuse of skaters. He has filed appeal against this decision and wants to fight to the highest court.
11.3.2002: The new Eissport-Magazin is being printed now and will be distributed including the new EPSA-News with a 4 pages report about the 1. EPSA-Seminar in Lausanne. The delay was pronounced in the last edition and has to do with the stay in Salt Lake City and delayed production time

7.11.2001: The EPSA plans a Seminar for Members and Guests during the European Championships in Lausanne 2002. More information will be spread as soon as we have the written "YES" from our speakers.

24.9.2001: Our friends from the PSA in the USA have informed us, that all Skaters, Coaches and accompanying people have arrived back home safe.

27.8.2001: One of our Colleaques looks for skating possibilities (ice- and roller-skating) in and around London for an adult German HOBBY-Skater (a former female competition skater) who will study in London and wants to go on with skating.
6.7.2001: The new Eissport-Magazin 6/01 is on the market; it contains the EPSA-News with some interesting topics, partly in English.

17.3.2001: During the Worlds 2001 in Vancouver the EPSA will be represented by Martin SKOTNICKÝ (GER) and Mariusz NEGREA (ROM) - Coaches watch out for the Meeting of the WSCA in Vancouver. Date and place will be announced on the billboards.
17.3.2001: The former IPSU (International Professional Skating Cochaes Association has been renamed into "World Skating Coaches Association (WSCA)" according to an arrangement with the ISU, that wanted to show a clear difference in names between the ISU and the now called "WSCA".

5.2.2000 : The yearly EPSA-Meeting will take place in Nice, France, during the World's on Thursday, 30th March from 10-12 am. Please watch the billboards in the Event-Hall and in the Coaches Hotel for the exact place. The Meeting will be combined with that of the IPSU (World Organisation of the Skating Coaches) and the PSA (USA).
17.1.2000: EPSA Meeting 2000 during World's in Nice (26.3.-2.4.2000) - After the World's 2000 have been changed from Australia to Nice in France, many European Colleagues have told us that they will come to Nice. As we have planned a joint Meeting with our colleagues from the American PSA and together with the IPSU in Nice anyway, the EPSA Council has decided to move the yearly Meeting from Vienna to Nice. The exact place and time will be published as soon as we have managed to make a reservation of a Meeting-room.Colleagues who come to the Europeans in Vienna only are invited to contact our Council Members (President Daniel FÜRER, Vicepresident Alexandre VEDENIN or Secretary Sepp SCHOENMETZLER). We will be happy to inform you about all current issues and answer all your questions.Another place to contact us will be the Junior World's in Oberstdorf (5.-12.3.2000).
